Overview
You own the accounting for a portfolio of UAE client companies. You close the books on time, keep every balance explainable and give founders numbers they can actually act on. This is a hands-on accountant role, one step beyond bookkeeping: you prepare the management accounts, not just the entries.
What you will do
- Maintain complete, accurate ledgers for a portfolio of client companies.
- Run month-end and year-end closing on a predictable schedule.
- Prepare bank, receivable and payable reconciliations and resolve differences.
- Produce management accounts and simple financial summaries for founders.
- Keep records structured so VAT and corporate tax filings are straightforward.
- Prepare clean, complete files for audit preparation colleagues.
- Flag unusual transactions and accounting gaps early rather than at year end.
What we are looking for
- 3+ years in accounting, ideally handling multiple client entities.
- Confident with month-end closing and reconciliations without supervision.
- Working knowledge of IFRS fundamentals.
- Comfortable in at least one cloud accounting platform.
- Accuracy, deadline discipline and a habit of documenting your work.
- Professional English.
Nice to have
- Part or fully qualified (ACCA, CA, CPA or similar).
- UAE experience with VAT and corporate tax records.
- Background in an outsourced accounting or corporate services firm.
- Arabic, Hindi, Urdu or Russian.

How many clients would I handle?
A portfolio of small and mid-sized UAE companies, sized so you can close each one properly.
Do I need to be based in the UAE?
Yes, this is a Dubai-based hybrid role with visa support available.
