Krystyna Sokolovska Krystyna Sokolovska · · 2 min read

This page provides a compliant-style UAE tax invoice template with all the mandatory fields. It is a sample for pre-/non-e-invoicing use; confirm current rules with the Federal Tax Authority.

What you need to know first

A UAE VAT (tax) invoice must usually show “Tax Invoice”, the supplier name, address and TRN, a unique number and date, customer details, a line-by-line VAT breakdown, and the totals excluding VAT, the VAT amount and the total including VAT in AED. This template lays those out; it is a sample, not an official FTA form.

When to use it

Use this template if you are VAT-registered and need to issue tax invoices. Pair it with the UAE tax invoice requirements checklist to confirm every field. In the UAE a full tax invoice is usually required for a supply of AED 10,000 or more (including VAT); at or below AED 10,000 a simplified tax invoice may be allowed. This template is a full tax-invoice layout – confirm the current rules with the FTA.

What it does not replace

For pre-/non-e-invoicing use. UAE e-invoicing is phasing in 2026-2027 and requirements can change – confirm the current mandatory format with the FTA. This is not tax advice or an official form.
