Audit Preparation Specialist

Overview

You get client books into a state where an external audit runs smoothly and cheaply. Note the scope honestly: Emirae.Pro does not perform the statutory audit itself, that independent examination is done by a licensed auditor. Your job is everything that comes before it, and doing it well is what turns a painful audit into a routine one.

What you will do

• Review client records ahead of audit and identify gaps before the auditor does.
• Prepare trial balances, lead schedules and supporting documentation packs.
• Resolve reconciling items and unexplained balances.
• Assemble working papers that answer an auditor's questions in advance.
• Act as the coordination point between the client and their licensed external auditor.
• Track audit queries through to resolution.
• Feed recurring issues back to the accounting team so they stop repeating.

What we are looking for

• 3+ years in audit, audit support or accounting with audit exposure.
• Understanding of what an external auditor asks for and why.
• Strong reconciliation and documentation skills.
• Ability to work through messy records methodically.
• Clear communication with both clients and auditors.
• Professional English.

Nice to have

• Time spent inside an audit firm.
• Part or fully qualified (ACCA, CA, CPA or similar).
• Knowledge of UAE statutory audit and free zone audit requirements.
• Experience with audit software or structured working-paper systems.

No. The statutory audit is an independent examination performed by a licensed auditor. You prepare clients for it and coordinate with that auditor.
