How to remove a travel ban in the UAE

Ask a consultantThere is no single service that lifts a travel ban. The country has more than one kind, and each is removed by the body that imposed it. The first job is not to apply anywhere but to find out which sort you are facing: a court ordered ban over a debt and an immigration entry ban are undone in different places.

So the sequence is: check whether a ban exists and what it is, settle the thing that caused it with the right body, and only then ask that body to lift it. Skipping the first step is what sends people to the wrong counter.
What this does not mean
Paying an overstay fine does not lift a ban, and neither does a new job offer. A file that shows as valid in a visa status check can still have a ban behind it, because bans live in different systems from residence records. We are not naming fees or timescales for removal here: they depend on which body imposed the ban and on the case, and we did not find a published schedule to quote.
