Set up a free zone company three months ago through a package that included the free zone's own corporate-services arm handling bank account opening. On paper it looked clean: one invoice, one point of contact, everything under one roof.
Six weeks in, the account is nowhere. The same compliance questions keep coming back. The bank asks for a document, the free zone's account team sends it in the wrong format, the bank asks again. Nobody at the free zone can actually pick up the phone and speak to the bank's corporate onboarding desk. Meanwhile our two small clients are waiting to pay and we are shifting invoices around to avoid losing them.
This is not how I want to operate. I need a specialist who can take over the file from the free zone's team, review what has actually been submitted, decide whether the current application can be rescued or whether we should cleanly withdraw and apply fresh at a different bank. I would prefer not to let the rejection come in on the current file because that sits on the record.
What matters is speed and honesty. If the right call is to pull the application and start at a different bank, tell me that on day one. If the current file can be fixed with a better narrative and the right document bundle, show me what that looks like before you start work. I am willing to pay for a diagnostic as a separate scope before execution.
Most importantly, if this situation is one you have not recovered before, I would rather you say so. I do not want to be someone's first time.
