This is my first time sponsoring family into the UAE. My own visa and Emirates ID are stable, my salary and housing allowance meet the qualifying criteria for spouse and child sponsorship, and the supporting paperwork (attested marriage certificate, attested birth certificates, school admission letter, tenancy contract in my name) is already prepared. Specifically the chain for each dependent is: arrive on entry permit, medical test within the required window, Emirates ID application, residency stamping on the passport, and then the downstream things like bank account for my wife, school uniform and bus registration for the kids, personal insurance activations, and driving licence conversion for my wife when we are ready to book that appointment. If any of those steps slips, the school start date is at risk and my wife ends up another two weeks unable to open a bank account.
What I need is a PRO firm that treats this as one family engagement with one point of contact, not three separate applications run by different coordinators. Specifically: review my paperwork before the family lands to flag any attestation or translation issue while there is still time to fix it from this side, book the three medicals back to back on the same day so we are not spreading the family across multiple appointments, lodge the three Emirates ID applications together, and hold my hand through the bank and school follow-ups in the week after the residency stamps are issued.
Honesty about what is realistic matters. If the school start date is genuinely tight given the current ICP processing windows, I want to hear that now so I can talk to the school proactively about a two-week grace or a temporary arrangement, not discover it on day ten when it is too late to negotiate anything.
After the setup is done, looking for the same firm to retain on my family's visa renewals and any dependent changes down the line. Not looking for a cheapest quote, looking for a firm that does family sponsorship as a category and will actually care about the school start date as much as I do.
